University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Architecture Civil Enginering and Geodesy, Civil engineering master studies – Module Disaster Risk Management

The Faculty of Architecture Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka has announced a competition for enrollment of students on an innovative study plan and program of Civil Engineering Master Academic Studies for Master Module “Disaster Risk Management”.

Master Module “Disaster Risk Management” of the Civil Engineering Master Study is carried out within the ERASMUS + project Knowledge FOr Resilient SoCiEty (K-FORCE), which aims to strengthen the capacity in the field of Risk Management of disaster events in the countries of the Western Balkans through education.

Innovated master academic studies are valid for 60 ECTS, lasting one year and consist of 4 compulsory, 4 elective courses and Master thesis.

The studies belong to the scientific field of Civil Engineering.

At the end of the studies, student obtains the title: Master of Civil Engineering - 300 ECTS – Disaster Risk Management.

20 students financed from the budget + 5 foreign citizens

Call for entry

The application for the enrollment deadline begins on August 27, 2018 and ends on September 5, 2018. (Reception of documents is done every working day).

The entrance exam is on September 7, 2018, starting at 9.00 am on the premises of the Faculty.

In the event that there are free places after the registration deadline, additional registration deadline will be organized.

Requirement for enrollment

The applicants who have completed at least four years of academic studies in Civil Engineering (at least 240 ECTS ) or undergraduate academic five-year studies of Civil Engineering under the University Law are eligible to apply for the Competition.

Recognition

Applicants who have completed graduate academic five-year studies in Civil Engineering under the University Law have either completed or are still studying at one of the other Master's Degree Programs in Building Studies, have the opportunity to recognize equivalent subjects from five-year graduate studies under the University Law and the same courses from other courses of Master studies in Construction at AGGF UNIBL. Student mobility - cooperation with universities in the Balkans - special mobility within the project "Knowledge FOr Resilient soCiEty (K-FORCE)"

During the course, 4 students will have the opportunity to spend the summer semester (five months) at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad.

The cost of travel and stay is provided by the project budget.

The mobility contest will be announced after completion of study enrollment.
